Maziwa Zaidi partners in association with the CGIAR Research Program (CRP) on Livestock have identified integrated intervention packages to be tested and delivered as part of a project on ‘Agri-entrepreneurship, technology uptake and inclusive dairy development in Tanzania.’ The testing and delivery will be done with and through empowered and appropriately skilled dairy agri-entrepreneurs who are expected to also profit from promoting uptake of the prioritized technology packages by smallholder dairy farmers.
On behalf of the program partners, ILRI is seeking applications from non-profit and profit service providers to build the capacity of agripreneurs in selected agribusiness knowledge areas and skills. The capacity development will focus on incubation, acceleration, training and mentoring of agripreneurs engaged in provision of inputs and services in pilot areas in Kilimanjaro and Tanga regions. We expect to embark on this exercise soon after Covid-19 restrictions ease and for a period of up to 12 months.
Applications should be sent to: ILRI-Tanzania@cgiar.org by 29th May 2020.
